My poor munchkin. He is normally such a happy baby but these molars are really throwing him for a loop. Thank God this is number 4 of the first set. Canines are next and those were even worse for J so I am not looking forward to it for R. He always follows the same pattern with teething. The runny nose starts and then he’ll sleep a lot for like two days before the pain sets in. Once the pain sets in, he struggles with sleep and is just generally clingy and crying all day long. Especially after waking up from naps. It’ll take him up to an hour to come around after his nap. It got so bad this time that we broke out the whiskey! I debated just taking a few shots myself … but we tried a drop of whiskey on his gums and holy hell – that totally did the trick! He was bouncing around the room and playing just a few minutes after!!
