Oma and Opa babysat the kids so we took a trip into the city to visit the 9/11 Memorial and museum. Photography was prohibited in most of the museum and to be honest, I was so wrapped up in the exhibits that I didn’t really think to take many pictures. To say that the museum was heart wrenching and breathtaking is an understatement. It was so thoughtfully laid out and the raw emotion that plays on you the entire time you are there is intense. The pain, the fear, the hope and the sadness of every victim and survivor is palpable.
