Despite the fact that we have been members of the zoo for two years now, this is the first time J and R have seen the reptile/amphibian house. We normally hit up the train ride and the touch aquarium. Then we may squeeze in one or two other things before it’s time for lunch and then home for naps. They thought it was pretty cool when the docents came out with a live hermit crab, turtle, frog and other reptiles/amphibians until the turtle peeked out of its shell and then they wanted out of there as fast as their little feet could carry them.
