I swear, they had fun.
The castle was a big attraction for J. He was so excited to be in the play and to have a chance to be on stage and help with the show.
They asked the kids to be knights, goblins and princesses. J said he wanted to be a princess so I took him to the stage to get outfitted. Even though he had been so excited, he ultimately decided he would rather just watch than act.
And instead, had fun twirling around.
It was one of the hottest days of the summer so our morning took quite a bit out of them. They both conked out on the way home.
