My Huntsman.

I was truly amazed by my little guy tonight.  He did such a good job remembering his lines and speaking loudly.  He showed no signs of nerves or stage fright even though they were performing in a huge theater with a decent sized crowd of parents and family.  There was a piano player for the orchestra and the kids adorably sang a few songs.  I sat there beaming with pride the entire time.  What a night.  Afterwards James said it was the best time of his life and that “[he] was so happy that happy wasn’t a big enough word.”  So we ran through some synonyms and he said “ecstatic” was how he felt.  Part of the biggest excitement for the night was that his teacher, Ms. Vaughan showed up for the play and gave him flowers.  We had an “after party” at the house with family and I had the dining room all set up with fancy dinner plates, candles, a tablecloth etc and when we walked in he said “what’s all this for?” And I said “to celebrate you, babe!” and he looked at me, smiled and then bear hugged my waist.  My heart is full!
