There is a very cool window seat at the library but they won’t let you sit or stand on the top part where the grates are… so naturally, that’s the only place my kids want to sit.

We went for a hike and J decided to sit down in the middle of the trail and draw some “lullipops” with a stick.  I don’t think R had a clue what he was doing but certainly didn’t want to miss out!  Then we had some fun log jumping.

And then much to my delight, (with some gentle prodding from Mama) J held R’s hand to help him walk on the trails.

I cut the UPC label off a box of goldfish for J’s school and tossed the box into the recycling bin without a second thought.  One Mama’s trash is a little boy’s treasure I suppose.

R loves his wagon.  So much so that when we go outside to play, the first thing he does is climb up into it and sit there waiting until I agree to pull him around the yard.

Just spending the morning doing a little exploring with R while J is at school.

This is the face I see when J asks “can I have something else?”  Which is his subtle way of asking if he can have a cookie.
