R looooves all his books about trucks and trains and especially the Cars books he inherited from his cousins.  He likes to point at certain things on each page and make you tell him what they are over and over and over again.  I can’t even tell you how many times we go back and forth between “Flo” and “Ramon” on the last page of his Lightning McQueen book before he’ll let me put the book down and move onto the next one.  It’s really cute though.  It’s like he is checking to make sure that things are still called what they were called the last time we read the book.

Normally, when I go to the bathroom, the three musketeers all join in – James, Ryan and Bauer.  They all cram into our first floor bathroom which (I kid you not) is about the size of an airplane bathroom.  Today, they didn’t join me like usual.  I took my time and actually enjoyed having some privacy!  As I walked into the kitchen there was a set of brown footprints that led me right to this lovely scene… 

Admittedly, this is a somewhat lame fort.  I was tired.  And they didn’t seem to mind the lameness of it!

We had some friends over for a little party – can’t beat pizza, pasta and heart shaped rice krispie treats for the kids to decorate!
