My Everyday Life

It was a day where we used nearly every type of transportation possible.  Drove to Hoboken.  Ferry to Mid-town.  Bus to downtown.  Subway to financial district.  Ferry to Governor’s Island and back.  Taxi to mid-town.  Ferry to Hoboken.  Drove home.  It may have been the most perfect day for R.

I have so many videos of this but I had to capture it on film too.  The little mama has figured out how to go downstairs backwards.  And it’s adorable to watch. She crawls over, turns herself around and then scooches her butt side to side to back up to the edge of the step.  Then ever so cautiously and slowly, she lowers a foot to the ground.  Once she feels herself on solid ground, she brings the other foot down and merrily continues crawling on her way.

Here it is one week after your birthday.

I knew, that unlike the boys, you would not be walking by your first birthday.  I knew you would hit that milestone around 14 months.  I knew.
