Crib training.
We will need to sleep train baby girl soon, so I have been trying to put her in her crib for a bit during the day so that she gets used to it. I’ll miss snuggling with her at night SO SO SO much, but I know it’s best for her if she learns to sleep on her own and transition through sleep cycles without comfort nursing. But I’ll miss her warm little body next to me and her tiny feet curled up against my belly all night. And the farts she lets loose throughout the night … I’ll even miss those.

“Pop your leg off.”
We pop each other’s heads off every night as part of our bedtime routine. Today, while I was trying to take a picture with E, he ran over and tried to pop my leg off.

And this was the photo I wanted of E. I’d be lost without my wrap – it’s the only way I can get her the naps she needs while keeping up with the other two monkeys. And let’s face it, I kind of enjoy keeping her close to me at all times.

Wrong.
Given the current political climate, I don’t think I can let her wear these socks, cute as they might be.
