My Everyday Life

After 20 hours of labor, a little baby girl is born into the family!!  Stats: born at 4:08 am; 7 lbs, 2 ozs; 19 3/4 inches. (I didn’t take these so excuse the image quality!)

We go to the town library every Thursday while we wait for James to get out of school.  Every week R wants to check out new truck books so I usually oblige him (despite my penchant for losing library books).

You were born on Mother’s Day.  And I remember that day, your Dad and I talked about the next time your birthday would fall on Mother’s Day.  Daddy told me it would be when you turned 5.  My first little baby turning 5 seemed like it was an eternity away.  But here we are.  And we got here way faster than I ever thought possible.  I wish time would slow down just a little.  I can’t believe how quickly your childhood is passing.  Happy 5th Birthday to my creative, smart, strong-willed, music-loving princess boy!
