My Everyday Life

Or as most people call it, toe lint.

Shortly after midnight, I heard a loud noise so I got up to investigate.  I saw that our garage was accidentally left open and thought maybe someone was stealing from it.  Then out of the corner of my eye I saw huge flames shoot into the air.  Turns out one of our neighbors put a space heater next to the pipes in his garage so that they wouldn’t freeze, however, there was a tank of kerosene that was a little too close to the space heater.  Luckily, everyone was OK.  The same cannot be said for the poor guy’s house.  Both C and I went outside to see if we could help in any way but the fire dept. was already there and taking care of everything.  Seeing a house on fire so close was a little unnerving though.  I told C we had to get some fire ladders and a bigger fire extinguisher for our bedroom ASAP.
