Sneaking is hard work. Day 34/365
Tuesday is the day I normally go to the grocery store. So on this Sunday morning, much to J’s disappointment, there were no donuts left for him to sneak when I went upstairs to put some laundry away. When I came down and found him sneaking some cereal I asked “what are you doing Mister?” And he said, “Mom, I had to sneak the cereal. I tried to sneak the cookies but they are too hard to open. We need to buy more donuts.”

Lake playdate. Day 32/365
We went to a nearby lake with some friends and had a great day playing in the water, riding the paddle boats and having a picnic lunch. It’s always fun to have playdates when they are NOT at your own house!!
And this put a BIG smile on R’s face. Especially since he was able to go down it as many times as he wanted and there was no line!

Life with boys. Day 31/365
When you have two boys, and one is particularly wild and quite the pot stirrer, it isn’t uncommon to find this kind of scenario after running upstairs to grab laundry… both stripped down, ran outside, climbed on top of the table and alternated between Downard Dog and a Beyonce-type pole dance.

Unseasonably cool. Day 29/365
This has been a summer for the record books. Almost no humidity all summer and only a few days above 90. It *almost* makes me want to agree with Chris everytime he laments about moving to San Diego or someplace with similar weather. Hard to tear this girl away from the Jerz though.
